The Anker Speaker is mind-blowingly versatile, which is quite the treat for a campervan owner. The effortless Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity was particularly useful in times when I am out wandering, but want the convenience of changing tracks from even 66ft away. The waterproof design also reassures me that even unexpected downpours can't dampen my musical experience when I'm grilling outside. Concerns
While the Anker Soundcore Speaker boasts of an astonishing sound, it does have a minor drawback. The sound quality, although generally great, lacks clarity. This is not a major issue, but if you're an audiophile with experience with equalizers on your device, you might need to tweak it a bit to get the best out of the speaker.
Another downside is that this speaker, despite having the capability, is not really built for phone calls. The receiver might hear quite low-quality sound, which can be a bit disappointing. It doesn't really make too much sense to start using it for phone calls, but the option is still there if one decides to utilize it. So, if you're planning to use this speaker for calls, you might want to reconsider.
Should You Buy?
In conclusion, I can confidently say that the Anker Soundcore Speaker (Upgraded Version) truly delivers on its promises. This robust, versatile, and high-quality speaker proved to be an excellent addition to my rolling home away from home. The impressive sound quality, the no-fuss Bluetooth connectivity, and its waterproof design, accompanied by an outstanding battery life have added immense value to my campervan adventures. Certainly, there's a bit of shortfall in absolute clarity for discerning audiophiles and it might disappoint if you're looking for a speakerphone. However, these were marginal concerns in my overall satisfying experience.
My respect for this speaker also stems from its durable build and the convenience it offers with its light weight and efficient auto-reconnect feature. I found that the BassUp technology does wonders in pumping up the energy at BBQ parties or even during my solitude in the wilderness. Importantly, the speaker offers incredible value for money, making it an enticing option for folks on a tight budget.
So, is the Anker Soundcore Speaker worth purchasing? Definitely yes, when you consider what the speaker brings to the table for its price. It’s a compelling choice for those seeking a reliable, compact and terrific sounding Bluetooth speaker that's just perfect for those on-the-go adventures. Even with its minor shortcomings, rest assured it won't dampen the melodious rhythm of your outdoorsy experiences.

The Bluetooth feature effortlessly transitions between devices like phones and computers. It should be noted that, although possible, these speakers aren't the best choice for phone calls. It cleverly conserves power, especially in its passive mode, which uses minimal battery. You can go a long time without needing a recharge, though it's best to always have a charger at the ready when it finally does need one.
Good Value for Upgraded Anker Speaker
It's been four weeks since I started using the Anker Soundcore Speaker. My initial opinion was not great, as I had purchased this as a replacement for my desktop speakers and subwoofer, to be used solely with my PC. Initially, I was disappointed by the perceived poor audio quality, although the battery life was commendable. However, after investigating the sound settings in my Control Panel, I found two options for SoundCore: Headset and Headphones Stereo. The default was on Headset which is a mono sound, so I swapped it to the Stereo setting and the sound improved significantly.
Still, I felt it lacked a certain quality for a speaker priced at 30. I later stumbled upon a suggestion online to enable the loudness equalization setting on my PC. This setting led to a noticeable improvement in the sound quality.
Despite these positives, there are a few minor drawbacks. The blue light on the front of the speaker, just

Does it Last?
My purchase of the Anker Soundcore Speaker (Upgraded Version) Bluetooth Speaker dates back to 2021. While it might appear slightly outdated, it's functionality and design remain unchanged, prompting me to share my review. I was reminded of my previous purchase when I stumbled upon it on my list. To be frank, I'm usually reluctant to pen reviews but this speaker deserves one. Its performance and audio quality exceeded my expectations for its compact size. Its single-sided speaker does a commendable job, especially when I use it outdoors. As a South African residing in the UK, I often use it during my frequent BBQ sessions, even on rainy days. Inevitably accompanied by a few drinks, I often misplace my speaker outdoors, and it lays unattended for months in trees or grass It surprisingly survives these conditions unfazed, makes the next BBQ hunt enjoyable. I honestly can't recall when I last had to charge it. This hardy device tends to camouflage in my garden, only

Durable Battery life and Excellent Connectivity Range.
My anticipation for this upgraded version of the Anker Soundcore Speaker was certainly surpassed. I had predicted that the connection range would falter when I moved from my garden indoors, however, the music kept playing seamlessly. Even when I inadvertently left it on and wandered to the opposite area of my house, the speaker instantly reconnected and resumed playing as soon as I started a new video. Although it usually auto-shuts off, it exceeded my expectations by still reaching my location. The audio output is impressive, yet there's a slight deficit in clarity. However, individuals with proficiency in manipulating device equalizers can maximize the speaker’s potential.
